This week I am participating in
Susan's Outdoor Wednesday at http://asoutherndaydreamer.blogspot.com/.
Susan thank you for hosting this weekly event.
We recently visited the Biltmore Estate in Asheville, North Carolina. It is a beautiful place to visit.
It is the largest home in America. Here are a few pictures of some of the gardens.
As you can tell it was a gloomy day when we visited.
It is a magnificent to place to visit.
It has 43 bathrooms, 33 family and guestrooms and 65 fireplaces!
I loved this waterfall with a bridge.
Gorgeous hanging baskets.
Fields of sunflowers!
Roses galore!
Plants everywhere!
Huge plants!
If you get a chance to visit the Biltmore Estate and grounds you will not be disappointed!
Thanks for visiting!
Donna

Have a great rest of the week!

Wonderful photos, nice job! What an amazing place. I wonder how many mansions like this even exist in the US? I can't imagine the heating bill, guess that explains the 65 fireplaces.
I could probably live there if they forced me.
Mine today is the Annual Jazz Festival in town. Come by if you can. CLICK HERE
Have a glorious Wednesday.
Your photos are wonderful, Donna. I've never visited Biltmore so it's lovely to see the house and grounds. Have a great week and enjoy Outdoor Wednesday.
I really want to visit the Biltmore. I'm the only one in my family who hasn't been. Beautiful pictures. Thanks for sharing.
Blessings,
Rebekah

Hello Donna,
I have always wanted to visit the Biltmore and hope to go there next year.
Thank you for sharing these pictures with us!

I have not been there in ages. The one time we visited it was in Fall. It was so pretty with all the Mums down by the greenhouse. I hear it is so pretty to go at Christmas. I am glad that you are blogging and I am sorry to hear about your daughter Amber.

OH I LOVE BILTMORE! I have been many times & LOVE it more everytime I go. Did you get to do the "Behind the Scenes" Tour? It's the best. You get to go up into areas not open to the public. Your pictures are wonderful!!! Was is summer when you went? It sort of looks like it. Every season is pretty there. One year we went for Christmas. Magical!!!! Have a wonderful week. And thank you for visting Ms Reba & I for Outdoor Wednesday.
OOOh ... Biltmore estate! I visited there about 25 years ago while going to university in South Carolina. It is still as magnificient as I remembered it. Thank you for helping me 'visit' again.
What a stunning place to visit. I have never been to the Biltmore, but I would love to see it. Lovely photographs.
