If you read my blog you know my youngest daughter Jennifer is getting married in June. I have been working on a quilt for the bride and groom. I asked Jennifer what kind of quilt she wanted and I gave her some options ... first being the double wedding ring quilt. She said she wanted something different ...secretly I was glad...I have only made a few blocks of the double wedding ring pattern.
So this is a picture of what I am working on. I have fussy cut so many roses and hung them on the wall and stood back and looked and looked again and again!
I think I am finally happy with what I have decided on and now I am off to my husband's "manly room" to lay it all out on the carpet (actually where the cats won't run through it and scatter it) and begin sewing it all together. Gotta get busy ... the wedding is in June!
Thanks for visiting and God Bless,
Donna

Lovely fabric. Can't wait to see it put together.
The colors look like something I'd like, too. Please share as you go along and when it is together let us know. Your daughter is blessed to have a mom that likes to sew. Thanks for sharing.
It's going to be beautiful whatever design your making. I love that fabric Donna. Congrats to your daughter.
Looks like it will be beautiful.

Oh I cannot wait to see it! How exciting!!
I have been search for a year for a quilt for our king bed. (not anything handmade, I could never afford it!) When I do find one I like, either it isn't in a king size or it looks chintzy :(
Donna, since you have a good eye, do you ever see quilts in catalogs that you think are well made but well priced also? If so let me know and drop an email!
Have a wonderful Wed! xo, misha
Oh Donna,
This looks like it is going to be so beautiful. The fabrics are gorgeous. Are you going to be able to show your progress or do you have to keep it a secret? Either way I can be patient.
The fabric choices are lovely! It will be a very special gift they will treasure forever.
Donna, I need you to e-mail me @ brambleberrycottage@rtmc.net . I oculdn't find an e-mail address anywhere on your blog.

Beautiful fabric! Oh what a treasure this will be! Can you even imagine what some great-grandchild will think of this and treasure it one day?
Oooh, I love the fabrics! Very shabby chic and romantic. Nice choices!!
It is going to be beautiful! Your daughter will treasure her quilt forever. I wouldn't take anything for the quilts that my grandmother made for me.
Donna,
Can not wait to see the finished quilt, I love the colors they are so elegant and warm, what a nice mom you are. I am sure they will love it more because all your love was put to work on it.
Hugs,
Maria & Ruth
