Nifty Thrifty Tuesday

Linda at Coastal Charm  is hosting her first Nifty Thrifty Tuesday.
I love to find great buys especially on items for around the house.

I found this cute little dish at a thrift store for 50 cents.  I love the green ... it looks so Spring-like.
I use it in my kitchen.

I purchased this candle holder last week at Hobby Lobby for $3.00. It was in the 80% off section.  It matches two picture frames I purchased back in the fall.  It has the oil rubbed bronze look to it and it goes great in our bedroom.
Who doesn't love a good buy!

Please go visit Linda and take a look at her thrift finds and visit other bloggers linking up for the party.

Thanks for visiting and God Bless,
Donna

Must confess - so jealous of your little green depression glass dish. I really love that green. And 50 cents?!?!?!? Even more jealous over that price.

More jealously - no Hobby Lobby in California! Next time I head to Kentucky I WILL GO TO HOBBY LOBBY!

I am so glad you found such lovely treasures and I'm glad you can enjoy them!

The color on that dish you found at GW was wonderful...such a vivid shade of green! I always love digging through the 80% off section at Hobby Lobby. Never know what you are going to find. Great buy on the candlestick.

Darn it....why can't I ever find such great bargains at HL???? That candlestick is totally AWESOME!!

I think your green dish could be Depression glass. The pattern looks very familiar but I don't have my book to look it up at the moment. Hang on to it, just in case it is Depression!

Great finds Donna and I was thrilled to hear about your all's trip to the Smokies! It is truly a wonderful place ... we are originally from Knoxville, so we have spent quite a bit of times thru the years in "God's Country." Without a doubt, Amber was with you all :) Also love the quilt you're making from the class you took! It's gonna be awesome :) Blessings to you my dear.

Hi Donna,

I just happened to find your blog a couple of weeks ago when I typed "quilting" into my google bar.

It's so nice to meet you. I enjoy your blog. Thanks for sharing your heart and your life.
