Quilting Ladies Quilt

I bought this small quilt kit at a quilt shop last year.  It was very easy to put together.
I draped it over the sofa to take a picture.
I adored the fabric.  It has all the things I love ... the color red, hearts and quilting.  The fabric center has ladies quilting.

Here is a closeup of the quilters.  I have enough of this fabric for the backing.
Now I just have to quilt it!  I'm just not sure how I want to quilt it ... machine or hand quilting?  Help!

Thanks for visiting and God Bless!

Might be cute to quilt right on the dashed lines on the toile fabric! Myself, I'd do it by machine because I really don't know how to hand quilt well. But this would be a nice, small piece to practice hand quilting on. So, if you can hand quilt, go for it. If it's going to get a lot of use and washing, perhaps machine quilt...

Dearest Donna,
Hello, my name is Terry and I just came across your blog when I saw the quilt picture posted. Once into this darling blog I was in tears at your strength and courage after such a devastating loss to you and your family. I admire you and I'm glad I have found you.
I am now your latest follower. Please stop by I'm doing my first Give Away and you might like the vintage kitty that's up for grabs.

Donna, I clicked on your quilt photo twice to enlarge it so I could see the wonderful details. I can see why you fell in love with it!! That center looks almost like toille...I ♥ the quilting ladies!

I am clueless when it comes to recommending HOW to quilt it. That is always the hardest part for me.

Have you seen Leigh Day's 365 days of quilting blog? She has LOTS of tutorials for various free motion patterns.
Let me see if I can get a link to work here.

Toile and quilting ladies! How wonderful. Your quilt is so sweet. I'm not a quilter, although I do enjoy dreaming about being a quilter. My husband's aunt just sent us a quilt - out of the blue - and I adore it. I'll be posting about it very soon.

I'm sorry I just am now seeing the post about Amber's birthday. I always wish I could do or say something to help ease your pain, but I know I can't. I hope knowing how much we all care about you and would have loved Amber helps you.
