Virtual Quilting Update

I have been trying to lay my blocks out to see how I should put them together.  I don't like for my colors to be next to each other.  I will continue arranging them.  Which color do you think would look good as the border?  I can't decide but I do know I don't want it floral.  I have plenty of each fabric left.  I am thinking maybe one of the greens or the coral color.  Help!

Thank you Susan for hosting this party.  Now I need to visit the other quilters.

Thanks for visiting!

Donna, I love your choice of colors. So pretty! I would lean towards one of your pretty greens for the border. All of your greens are beautiful. That quilt looks like it will be fun to piece together. I wish we lived closer. You and I could have so much fun with our craft projects! Enjoyed talking with you today. Keep us posted on the progress of your quilt. Love & blessings from NC!

Oh, I just really love the colors. You did a fantastic job picking them out...Hmm...it might be nice to use the coral-colored fabric as the border...since that doesn't occur as frequently in your quilt as the greens do :) :) :) Whatever you decide, I'm confident it'll turn out fabulous!!! I LOVE quilts!!! Love and hugs from Oregon, Heather :)

It's looking great Donna! I agree with Heather, I'd pick the coral, but the green would be nice too. What a great color combination! You are so talented!

It's really pretty. Any of the colors would be good for the borders. It depends how you want the quilt to read. Of course, whatever color you put in the borders is going to pull out that color in the quilt. So, if you go with green, the quilt will read as a "green" quilt in some ways. I know you don't want a floral...What if you put a paisley or something in the border...one that contains all the colors in the quilt? Just a thought. I think any of your colors will look just great.

This is beautiful Donna -- I think I would lean toward the green. Thanks for your sweet visit to my table.

You do a great job with your value scale and color. What about a small flange of one color...then the border in another color?
