I like to play with gadgets in my sewing room.  I have a Double Diamond ruler and decided to try this bookmark just for fun.
It was fun and easy to make.  I may add a little something to it ... maybe some decorative stitching.  I had the fabrics left over from a bag I made back in the summer.  I have enough scraps from projects to make a million of these!

Right now I have to make Jennifer's new husband, Jeremy, a stocking made for Christmas to hang on the mantle.  Gotta get busy!  Christmas will be here before I know it.

Thanks for visiting and God Bless!
Donna

Your bookmark is gorgeous, Donna. Wouldn't it be pretty as a table runner in a larger size? You will love making Jeremy a Christmas stocking. What fun! Have a wonderful weekend. Love & blessings from NC!

Very pretty! How big is it? I haven't tried that ruler you're talking about. Do you like it? I'd love to know how it works.

Stockings are fun to make! Enjoy the process. can't wait to see it!

Hi Donn!
Long time, not talk to!! I lost your link ~blush~ but saw Linda at Coastal mentioned your cute towel you sent to her & thus, I followed her posting back here to you.

LOVE that diamond ruler's end result!!! I agree, it would make an AWESOME tablerunner or set of placemats. I need a 60ยบ triangle ruler for a tablerunner & would you believe the big JoAnn's headquarters near me was totally out of them??!! Guess I'll order online.

Anyway, just wanted to pop in to say 'hi' & tell you how much I like your new Pinafore Christmas purse & your cute ME socks. Oh & thanks, too, for that yummy potato soup recipe. I have a Max & Erma's Chicken Tortilla one to share soon. Took the photos, ate it up & then forgot to blog about it.
Busy times for la sewistas right now!

Wishing you a Blessed Thanksgiving. I know you'll be missing your sweet Amber but she'll be there, in the hearts & minds of everyone at the table.
