Flea Market Gardens

I was looking for Spring inspiration for my backyard and I found this wonderful magazine ... Flea Market Gardens.
I love all the ideas for container gardening.  Oh the blooming flowers!
A lidded wicker basket that is full of blooming plants.  I happen to have a basket similar to this that was being thrown away by a neighbor.   I will be planting flowers in it this spring!

This old desk is put to good use with flowers in the drawers!  I love the pink color of the desk.

This is an old chest with the drawers filled with petunias and impatiens.  So cute!

I can't wait for Spring and getting out and digging in the dirt and planting flowers!

We had snow again this week so I am definitey ready for some warmer weather!  It will be in the 60's here next week and I can't wait!

Thanks for visiting and God Bless!
Donna

Beautiful! I can't wait to see photos from your garden in the Spring! We haven't seen grass in so long, it's hard to imagine Spring will ever get here! Same for me as Linda (above)...no planting until May, ugh!

Happy Birthday. I can't wait until spring either. It is not supposed to snow and ice like this in Alabama.

I am ready for winter to be over. But I hadn't really started longing for spring until I saw those pictures of the flowers! Thanks a lot! LOL. Just gorgeous. I am longing for some nice weather. It will be a LONG time before we have weather in the 60s. Sigh.

I'm so glad you shared this because I have decided this is the year for me to turn my backyard into something I love. One of my favorite things to do is take my morning coffee outside and I'd love to have something beautiful to look at. Will have to look for this magazine.

I WANT to find that magazine! I always told my dh that when he parked his truck (big rig) that I was going to fill the fab with soil, knock out the windows and plant petunias in it. He sold it to an acquaintance before I could. RATS!! Doing a Google for that magazine. Some of those neat ideas just look tacky out here in the country, i.e. toilet bowls filled with flowers. I DON'T THINK SO!!
Haul the old bathroom fixtures to the second hand building supply. PLEASE!!

I just wanted to let you know that so far I have not had any luck finding that fabric you commented on, but if I do I will sure let you know.

Hi Donna! I picked up that magazine too while we were in Kentucky. Something about being out of town - no matter the circumstances - makes me go magazine crazy. I loved a lot of the ideas in this magazine too. Made me want to go work outside.

Have you EVER had this much snow?

Great magazine...will have to look for it.
DH is going to a conference in St Petersburg this week so I am tagging along, hehehe. I am hoping to visit an antique mall while there.
Have a great week! Sharon
