Christmas Decorating and Catching Up

The past two weeks have been crazy at my house.  I was going to begin Christmas decorating the weekend before Thanksgiving.  That didn't happen!  My aunt who is like a mother to me called me at 2 a.m. one morning and was being rushed to the ER.  I immediately got dressed and took off.  Don't you hate getting those late night calls?  To make a long story short ... she had a pacemaker put in and is doing well now at home.  Thank goodness!  Needless to say I spent lots of hours at the hospital.

Today I am trying to decorate.  I am unpacking boxes of Christmas cuties and so many memories from over the years.  I put together a little snow scene that will be under a cloche.  The snowman has his birdhouse and bird on his shoulder.
I love Christmas!

Thanks for visiting!
Hugs,
Donna

thats just so sweet. it made me think back to days at my g'ma's and those memories are precious to me. I have none of her holiday decor so I really enjoyed seeing this.

So glad to hear you aunt is feeling better. I know when you put your special touch on your decorating your home will be beautiful. If I remember correctly, you have several trees. I think you had a kitchen tree with little kitchen tool adorning it. Hugs

Hope your aunt is okay. I sure love your decorations. I am not doing any this year. No time. No energy!

Just saw this post now, sorry that I didn't react before. But then, I already knew most of it.
Glad to see you can take time to do some decorating now.
Take care and talk to you later.
