Yes! I am going to be a grandmother! I can finally announce it :)
My birthday was February 4 and what a surprise. My birthday cake told me I was going to be a Nonna! I really didn't think Jennifer could keep a secret from me!! And such a big one! I had dreamed the night before she was having a baby. I texted her and told her what I dreamed and she told me I was delirious!
Jennifer always said her babies would call me Nonna. Of course grands are going to call me whatever they want to call me. For my birthday my husband and I were going to Jennifer and Jeremy's house and then on to dinner. I actually woke up sick the morning of my birthday. I took enough meds to make the hour long drive. I was determined to make it to their house. When we arrived I went into the kitchen and she said look at your birthday cake. It was still in the box. I opened it up saw "Happy Birthday Nonna" on it closed it again and opened it again. Thinking ... did I see that or am I delirious :) After all I had just texted her that morning telling her I dreamed she was pregnant! They then gave me a framed picture of the sonogram of the baby. My husband and I are thrilled we are going to be grandparents. They actually found out she was pregnant on my husband's birthday but didn't say a word. They wanted to wait a few weeks before they told us. And to think I could have known a month earlier!
This little one is going to bring some much needed joy into our lives. After Amber passed away I didn't think I could ever be happy again. She would be thrilled to be an aunt and she is! She is watching down on us from Heaven and smiling that big smile with her big blue eyes. Jennifer told me Amber was holding her baby and taking care of it until it is born. Now I am crying! Of course we are all emotional right now but thrilled beyond words! It will be a few more weeks before we find out if it is a boy or girl. All we pray for is a healthy precious baby!

I am so HAPPY for you, what wonderful news!! It is the best thing in the whole world, I have four beautiful grandchildren and I LOVE everything about it!!!! What a beautiful surprise and such a sweet way to find out the news!!
Donna, I'm just thrilled for you! There is nothing like it in the world. I wanted my grands to call me Grammy, but Ari had trouble with "G's" and it turned out Mimi! I'm still hoping I can refine them:-D And what a great birthday present, XOXO

First of all, YEE--HAW!! I could be jumping up and down, also, but don't want to hurt myself. This news is making me smile and smile big! May God bless you all and keep this new growing baby safe in His hands (And we know Amber is also on the watch).
Second, happy belated birthday! We do share that day, but my mind was busy getting ready for my mom to come and stay while my brother and his wife went on a trip to Florida. She is back home now, so I can breathe easier. My house is usually on the cool side but while she was here we had the heat turned up so she was more comfortable. Take care my friend and know that I'll say a prayer for you and your family.♥♫

Congratulations Donna!!! My grandson, Ayden, is my heart! He was born three months before my sister passed away unexpectedly. He has been a great source of comfort and love during those times when I needed a hug from her but she was in already in heaven. Grandchildren are so much more fun than children!!
